His latest project πΌπΈπππΈπ½πΆ πΌπππΈπ² is part software archeology and part improvised musical performance. It shines a spotlight on the innovative DSP software developed for Mac computers during the ‘90s to ‘00s. Original iBook G4 and PowerBook G4 laptops are used in performance to create live, electronic music using software taken from the blog, showcasing the audio/visual aesthetic of the millennium.
Kate Carr is a composer and sound artist whose work centres on field recording, listening practices, and the politics of sound. Her performances weave together environmental recordings, subtle electronics, and archival material, creating immersive sound worlds that reward close attention. Carr’s work sits at the intersection of sound art, experimental music, and ecological inquiry, and is known for its quiet intensity and emotional depth.
Misery Bacon is the solo experimental sound and noise project of Norwegian-based artist, illustrator, and musician Luke Drozd. Associated with Bloxham Tapes, the project explores collage, soundscapes, and harsh noise, often moving between abrasion and atmosphere.
